JOIN US IN CELEBRATING OUR 5TH BIRTHDAY! FREE BOOZE FROM SAILOR JERRY!
Way back in February 2007, our little neighbourhood bar & kitchen first opened its doors to Tufnell Park and Archway residents (and to everyone else beyond!) and we're still going strong…
To celebrate this momentous milestone, we're having a big old party and you're invited. We know that we wouldn't have got this far without all you lovely people, your friendly smiles and your ongoing thirst for great drinks & pizza…so this party is a massive thank you for helping us to stick around!
To show our gratitude in a way we think you'd recognise, we'd like to shower you with free booze (not literally, unless you ask!) provided by our good friends at Sailor Jerry. If you're not a fan of the yummy spicy rummy stuff then don't worry, there'll be plenty of other boozy treats on offer throughout the evening to keep that thirst quenched!
The soundtrack to the shindig will be provided courtesy of 'Cat Lovers' DJs, whose monthly club night at Queen Of Hoxton will see the likes of Maccabees, Lois Winstone and a fire breathing midget (you heard us) grace their forthcoming line ups. Also residents at Proud Camden's equestrian themed club night Ride, they will be bringing a taste of their parties to our basement with a mishmash of 80s classics, power ballads, classic house, pop anthems, indie favourites and so much more.
During the last half-decade, our intimate basement bar has seen the likes of Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons, Frank Turner and Carl Barat take to the stage. Meanwhile, folks like Mischa Barton, Sienna Miller, Jonny Borrell and Mighty Booshers Noel Fielding & Julian Barratt have simply chosen to hang out with us for a few drinks. And the nights we spent in the company with Martha Wainright and good old Suggs from Madness are probably best left to another time…
Over the years we've also served up quite a few thousand of the 'best pizzas this side of Foreign', an accolade which was first bestowed upon us by The Observer Food Monthly back in August 2007…and one which we live up to every day!
